WOUND CARE MANAGEMENT

Chronic wounds, such as pressure ulcers, can be difficult to treat. We provide residents with an innovative, interdisciplinary approach of skilled therapeutic wound management. Our program is supervised by a physician specializing in wound care, who works with our expert nurses to offer advanced and proven-effective wound care technologies and procedures that promote faster healing.

  • Treat patients at risk for development of wounds and wound complications; prescribe preventive measures to promote skin integrity; and treat wound problems once they develop
  • On-site consultation and treatment by Wound Care Physician and certified wound care nurses
  • Pressure ulcer management, Pre/Past Flap Repair, Infection Management, Wound Debridement, Surgical Wounds, Skin Grafts, Wound Vac Treatment

 

DEMENTIA SPECIAL CARE UNIT
  • Certified designated special care unit
  • Unit manager on site 7 days a week
  • All staff on the special care unit are certified and highly trained to create a supportive environment
  • Creative activities and specialized attention to each residents needs

 

PAIN MANAGEMENT

We treat various types of musculoskeletal pain such as lower back, neck and joint pain syndrome using non-invasive therapies to reduce pain and improve quality of life.

  • Consults with board certified Physiatrist on-site
  • Management of sleep deprivation, anorexia, depression, anxiety, agitation, decreased activity and functional status, delayed healing
  • Treatment program to address both acute and chronic painful conditions

 

Focused on Your CarePALLIATIVE/HOSPICE COMFORT CARE
  • Supportive care to patients usually in the final phase of a terminal illness and focus on comfort measures and quality of life
  • Focus on providing family time to spend with their loved one in a private comfortable environment
  • Care is done onsite utilizing the same medical staff that your family member has become accustomed too
  • Work closely with hospice companies to meet resident needs

 

PSYCHOLOGICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH MANAGEMENT
  • Manage age and illness related mental disorders such as cognitive decline, depression and anxiety
  • Board certified Physiologist on-site 5 day per week
  • On-site psychiatry consults as needed
